figure out は「解決する」「理解する」という意味です。類似の表現としては、solve、understand、work out などがあります。

figure out は問題を理解し解決策を見つける過程を指すのに対して、solve は具体的な問題に対して解答や解決策を見つけることを指します。また、work out は問題をうまく解決するために努力することや計画を立てることを指します。
